Perfect stay in Lymington

Gorgeous hotel in the heart of Lymington. We had delicious cocktails in the bar before having supper in the main restaurant. Amazing service and lovely food. Would highly recommend.

Great hotel in the New Forest

Great boutique hotel ,staff are young but brilliant, excellent customer service,food top quality both breakfast and dinner. My only complaint is parking, very frustrating, when full you are left to sort your own parking, not good. New Forest parking discs should be made available.

Delightful Hotel

Hotel was recommended by Elderflower restaurant and we would definitely agree to recommend this to anyone staying in Lymington, it was all decorated for xmas and was beautiful and festive. Room was lovely and the bed was like a cloud, we will definitely be returning in summer months.

The hotel was lovely and very central in Lymington. The bedroom was decorated really nicely & pleased there was air conditioning in the room. The only comment, the bathroom was a bit small. The toilet was very close to the door.

A fab hotel right in the heart of the town .

Wonerful hotel. Lovely room, cosy very clean with everything we needed...nice touches like the Roberts radio....hotel had number of areas to sit and enjoy a drink, bar , conservatory, outside...outside space for a town hotel was super.. staff attentive .. overall would higjly recomend

Wonderful property! Beautiful bedroom - very clean - premium bedding. Delightful garden - huge with amazing wisteria which all enhanced our cream tea. Staff very helpful all over. Parking and unloading not the easiest. Breakfast was disappointing - practically cleared up buffet 20 minutes before end. Overall would absolutely recommend!

Hotel is very central. Parking is provided a short distance from the hotel itself (opposite side of the high street). Hotel has a boutique feel but is a little prescribed. Staff were very friendly but felt inexperienced - having loud personal chit chats whilst we were trying to enjoy a pre dinner drink in the garden, laughing at 6am outside our open bedroom window, forgetting to bring morning coffee to our room… this coupled with our rooms expense (not the cheapest) and size (nothing special) it took the edge off our stay and I wouldn’t hurry to return. Restaurant and bar areas all immaculate and food was good.

Lovely dinner with friends food was excellent. Service at dinner was also excellent. Service at breakfast friendly but slow, only one waitress. Room was very nice but felt it was expensive in that breakfast was extra & for price should have been included. Disappointing that a hotel like this, had very limited zero alcohol options, most places now at least stock something like a zero gin. Something for management to review maybe?

Very attractive hotel, restaurant and rooms. All the staff were lovely, but service was haphazard. Requested an iron from the receptionist, but it never arrived. No answer from the telephone in the room either. Had to go for dinner in crumpled clothes. Dinner menu is very good, but our order arrived with an incorrect starters and a tiny overcooked sirloin steak. (It was replaced with a more appropriately sized piece that was cooked perfectly).

If The Ivy did hotels this is what they would be like. Beautiful decor, quirky layout and lovely hidden garden. Room felt luxurious and the bed was super comfy. We ate in the garden which was very relaxed, such a pretty setting. The breakfast was superb, eggy brioche with bacon was delicious and the continental selection was very high end. Latte and Americano coffees included which we've noticed that some hotels have started charging for - not good when you are paying a premium for your stay. Excellent experience all round.
