"A fantastic townhouse in the heart of Southampton, mere minutes walk from great bars, pubs, restaurants, shops, and activities of Southampton. Tucked away in the quiet Westgate Street, this is an excellent house. There were only two of us, and our dogs, but the house is huge and can cater for 6 people easily. "3 generations of our family stayed here to celebrate my mums birthday and it was perfect. The house was full of character and brilliantly appointed with everything we could have needed. The garden was huge and my nieces loved rolling down the slope at the end. Beaulieu is a great location both as somewhere to visit itself but also as a base to explore from. We're already talking about when we might go back!"

"We booked this property as a family to attend a wedding. The property looks lovely from the outside but is dated inside. There were cables coming out of the wall in the lounge, the beds were uncomfortable and didn’t fit the frames and we had no instructions on how to use everything. That is just the start of what is wrong with this house."

"Wow. An absolutely fabulous property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s beautifully presented and It really is so well equipped. The only thing I would mention is if you have really small dogs (we have a Border Terrier and a Jack Russell) the garden isn’t sufficiently enclosed that they couldn’t escape, but other than, it is a stunning spot for a really fantastic holiday. The owners are super-helpful and we absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone...

"This was our second holiday here and it was just as good as the first. We spent a lot of time reading in the lounge, watching the tide come in and out, and the shipping on the Southampton Water. The house is as described, but much better than the pictures can show. It is very comfortable with plenty of seating for six people, both in the lounge and the dining area. "This property is not 'posh' but it is absolutely perfect for a large family or group gathering. There is masses of space for cooking, eating and socialising and sitting outdoors. The setting of the cottage is second to none - surrounded by the fabulous New Forest and the giant redwoods of the Rhinefield Ornamental Drive.
