We stayed in the Lodge, there were a few cobwebs around. Staff very attentive and friendly. Breakfast ok, not great croissants, they were very soggy, cooked breakfast was good.

Nice location but overpriced for value for money

A very friendly staff and nice breakfast but the room in in the lodge is not that comfortable no much space to move in the bedroom to go to the bedroom. There is a leak in the living area of water leaking on the floor which I reported it.it is not value for money as we found it a bit pricey for what you get.

Probably the best guest house we’ve stayed at.

All staff were extremely friendly and down to earth. Very warm greeting by the owner on arrival introducing herself and giving a brief history of the business. Showed us around and explained how things are done with the bar, breakfast etc. even introducing us to their pet, Lionel the parrot. We were given a choice of 2 rooms to pick from. Rooms were very clean, plenty of storage area’s for your belongings. Good choice of tea, coffee etc, tall fan available to help in this warm weather. Iron & ironing board available if needed. Views were divine. Even had the option of sitting on a balcony near our room looking over the sea. They had a seating area out the front with sea view or seating area’s out the back with a large pond that had lots of fish in it. There was a large lounge area with a big TV (next to the bar) where we were able to watch England ladies win the final! They even brought us some complimentary snacks to eat while watching. Good choice of food for breakfast. Will definitely be booking again hopefully in November for another family party.

We stayed three weeks here and really enjoyed our time there. The staff and owners were great and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was great as well and had plenty to chose from. It was a short walk to the cliffs and restaurants and shops. We would defiantly stay here again!!!

Great stay

We had a lovely stay at Waters edge Guest House. Friendly and accommodating staff and a comfortable bed made our break perfect. The breakfast was very nice with several choices, served in a bright and cheerful room facing the seaside. Nice lounge to relax in complete with honesty bar and garden in the back of property for guests.

Brilliant Stay

The Watersedge is a guest house which is family run. They are extremely friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were superb, with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, fruit juice, then after the 'first course', there was a choice of bacon, egg, beans, mushrooms, sausage and toast. Fantastic menu to fill up with for the day ahead.

What a treasure to find! This place was phenomenal, we stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed more. Th room was well appointed and the view was better. The owners were fantastic and eager to assist. We ended up coming back from dinner and watching a movie with them. Cannot wait to return to catch-up.

Great, Brilliant, couldn't wish for more.

Excellent stay. Very friendly and welcoming. Great view of the Isle of Wight, especially The Needles and Lighthouse. We felt completely at home and very comfortable throughout our stay. Could not fault anything during the stay. Great all round feeling, shame we couldn't stay longer.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Could not do enough for us to make our overnight stay an absolute pleasure. She welcomed our little pet dog enthusiastically and everything was relaxed but with exceptional attention to detail. Very trusting,trustworthy and respectful.
