Apartments in Melton City

We immediately felt at home. We did not want to leave. For my husband and I, it was like visiting our grandparents' house when we were kids. The views were stunning.

We were given an apartment unit for our stay, the managers/owners were very helpful and friendly. It was our base for a pleasant visit to Melbourne. Very easy access to Melbourne and far enough away to be affordable. Surrounding neighbourhood area is a bit ordinary but the unit we had was excellent.

I had an amazing stay for the week, the room size was perfect, everything was comfortable and the bathroom was stunning. Will definitely stay there again when I return.

Mum and I had a lovely one night stay at St Joseph’s by the Sea. It was quiet and felt secure, part of a spiritual retreat centre with an adjoining convent. Cleanliness and comfortable beds were perfect, and access worked well for my 94-year-old mum, with a wheelchair available too. It is an easy 10-15 walk to main shopping area of Williamstown and less than 1 minute to the waters edge. There was plenty of on street parking available when we stayed. Apartment was great, newly refurbished which was lovely and beautifully presented with everything you needed in it and great views over the harbour. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was great for 2 couples. Having access to the pool and gym was great too. EXTRA BONUS we were able to check in and out early and late at no extra cost!!!!! This was a godsend after our very flight from NZ, meant we didn’t have to carry our suitcases around before check in. Would definitely stay here again.

We found and booked into Fitzroy District Apartments through online booking agency. We chose it because of the location and the affordable cost. The pictures looked great, so we were fairly confident. When we arrived and checked in with the key lock system we were surprised to find it very easy. We were pleasantly surprised when we got to our room.as it was roomy, had everything we needed, and was very clean (always a must!). Was a great apartment, easy to access public transport and a perfect location for the Queen Vic Markets and eateries nearby. The only downfalls would be there was no dryer but there is a laundry mat close by and the water pressure was low but that is expected in a big apartment building. Everything else was perfect.
