Overall the property was clean, neat and comfortable. Very much a place for those looking for a quiet place to stay. The entire facility was clean, tidy but had a charm of yesteryear to it. Very much a feeling of being home. Comfortable bed which enabled good sleep and there g ore refreshed for what was next. Greeted by a lovely staff member who was genuinely interested in you but efficient and to the point regarding the premises.

We don't wish to leave a negative review; however, the Expedia listing clearly states: "Entire Place You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party." - this was not the case. St Joseph's by the Sea is basically a no amenities hotel (no TV, no mini fridge, no sofa, a just a small bin by the toilet) - not the romantic getaway we thought we'd booked for Valentine's Day. The room (Room 2) itself, though simple, was neat and tidy - the decor and colour scheme were quite pleasant. If all you need is a bed and a place to spend the night then St Joseph's by the Sea is perfectly acceptable. But, the Expedia listing is very misleading.
