"I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff members were all very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. The room was in good condition, clean, and comfortable, and the scenery/views around the hotel were really nice. All the essential facilities worked well, including the AC, bathroom, and WiFi, which made the stay very convenient and comfortable. The surrounding area is also great, with many places to eat nearby. It’s conveniently located close to convenience stores and the ocean, making it easy to explore the area. My only minor complaint is that the parking lot is somewhat limited and can be a little difficult to park in at times. However, the hotel does provide overflow parking options nearby and collaborates with some surrounding parking areas, which helps a lot. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to others."

"The resort rooms are on the small side and they have microwaves available but you need to request (no information offered at check in). They clean only every 5th day but give towels on request. Restaurant closes at 9 PM and very limited choices. But the pool is great and lots to do nearby. It is worth paying for beach view--partial view is basically none at all. The small beach is nice. Best place for breakfast inside is King's Coffee--open early with excellent choices and great lattes."

"Would have been fine but (to no fault of the host) the complex owners were doing construction on the lanais and they were blasting heavy equipment all day , he did give us a discount and luckily we weren’t hanging out there except at night but would have preferred a different unit if it were available. Other than the torn up porch area the views are great and its close to the shops / restaurants and is ocean front"

Kona Islander Vacation Club

"We stayed at the Kona Islander Vacation club for a week during our family vacation. If you are looking for a tropical vacation spot that is affordable and within walking distance of shopping and restaurants this is it. The condos were clean, and the property is well maintained. We use the pool on hot tub just about every night, it was a great way to end the day. The grounds are very relaxing there. We had one minor thing happen. When we arrived the air conditioner to our condo kept turning itself off every 20 seconds which made our condo very hot.. So I called the number that was given to us and maintenance came up and they fix the problem. Other than that, we didn’t have any major issues with the condo. If you want your towels and toilet paper or trash bags refurbished, you just have to call them and leave a message and they bring it up to you that day. The kitchen had a refrigerator and a microwave and toasters and coffee pot, it also came with all the dishes that you needed plates cups silverware all those things as well. And paper towels. The only other thing to mention is that parking can be an issue. They have 100 parking spots. But there is 150 units. So if you arrive a little later towards the day, the parking spots will be full so they ask you to park up there by the street where the gravel area is. And sometimes that was full as well. So a couple of times we had to park down the street. We would definitely stay there again."
