"This property is in a perfect location which is its major advantage above others in the area. There are a couple of restaurants here which are decent. The strip mall is super close as well with food options. They offer many amenities including ability to rent bikes, boogie boards, umbrellas and fire pits on the beach. The staff who checked us in were friendly and helpful! A shoutout to Chez for checking us in and additionally addressing one issue we did have during our stay this trip. Hotel is relatively close to the airport (25mins) and walkable to the pier and other Main Street attractions. The room we booked is perfect for our family and the pools are great. "

"Beautiful resort. Everyone was friendly and the resort had everything for a relaxing and enjoyable get away. The amenities were great and everyone from front desk to valet were helpful and friendly. The valet kiosks were wonderful. The location is perfect, as there were plenty of places to walk to. "

"The air conditioning took a long time to cool the room, and the lighting throughout the space was poor. With no true blackout blinds, the room stayed in an odd, dim mood that never felt comfortable. The bed was the biggest disappointment: extremely low to the ground, overly soft, and difficult to get out of. The comforter was also washed incorrectly, resulting in noticeable pilling. The bathroom was a good size and included a tub, but the toilet had a strange scent handle that I kept accidentally grabbing. I booked this room specifically because the listing advertised “luxury amenities.” At the same time, the bottles were once luxury products, Davines. They are clearly refilled with inexpensive, non‑professional products. The shampoo was bright orange, and didnt smell at all, and that's not Davines shampoo. For someone with a lot of hair, this is a dealbreaker. The lotion and countertop items were also basic motel products, not luxury. The pool area looked nice, though we didn’t use it. I didn’t see an outdoor shower, which would be a valuable addition, ideally one near the entrance as well. The flooring color is attractive, but it becomes extremely slippery when you walk in with sand on your shoes. The hotel was very quiet, which I appreciated. They are currently building another small hotel right next door. It’s clear"

"We stayed here for a month and absolutely loved it. The place was very clean and clearly well cared for. It truly had everything you could need — they’ve really thought of everything!The location is fantastic, and it really is just a 1/2 block from the beach. Sheryl & Rich were very responsive if anything came up.The only minor issue was that the internet could be a bit spotty at times, but it seemed to be more of an area issue or possibly due to the thick walls in the older building. Overall, it didn’t take away our wonderful stay! "

"Perfect place close to the beach, just cross the street and walk thirty steps past a couple apartments and you’re there. So close that if u need to go to the bathroom it’ll take u 2 minutes to walk. The hotel is very clean and equipped w a refrigerator and microwave. They have beach towels and boogey boards you can use for free! The people are super nice! The place does seem a little old but if u want the beautiful newport beach, this is the place!"

"Room was ok for the price. But there was no maid service. We were there for 2 nights with no clean towels or replacing in room coffee. Would not have mattered as when we tried to use the coffee maker it leaked all over the floor."
