"Great location. Rooms were spacious, clean, and noise was pretty low. My only complaint was the up charge for the fitness center and pool. It was small but you had to show your receipt for rentry on the same day. It was a frustrating process that wasn’t very customer friendly when you just wanted to workout or swim multiple times in a day. "

"My boyfriend and I stayed at Pocket for several days while visiting Kyoto. It is located in such a convenient area (walkable distance to Nishiki and transit). The property itself is clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful! It is definitely worth staying here for the price! The only complaint I have come from the other foreigners/tourists. Please be respectful of the space especially when maintaining cleanliness as this is a shared space. Otherwise, I’d definitely recommend Pocket hotel! "
