Breakfast had plenty of food and beverages. Special orders limited to number of room occupants. Staff is very attentive, polite, and keeps area clean and orderly. Daily sake on the house - ask front desk for coin 24 hr coffee or tea available Subway connection and front door taxi or uber availability. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Near Nishiki market and Geisha district. Pokémon and Nintendo stores in walking distance. Overwhelmingly surrounded by high end boutique and factory stores (Rolex immediately next door). "Very relaxed stay. Short walk from station or book a taxi for a small fee if you have luggage. Ruriko-in temple and Mt Hiei cable car station is very close with lots of hiking and walking trails. Dinner was very nice and staff were super friendly. Special thanks to Hotel Manager Mr Koichi and all staff for making our stay an enjoyable one."
