Wonderful hotel, staff and location! Extremely walkable and close to trains/bus stops. Also, right across from 7-Eleven, which comes in clutch for an early breakfast or late night snack. Would definitely return!

Unbeatable location near Gion and very comfortable! I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Forza Kyoto. The location is easily the biggest highlight-it's right near Gion and within walking distance to pretty much everything, from great dining and shopping to transit. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with all the amenities and thoughtful details you need for an easy stay in Kyoto. It was a great, relaxing base to come back to after a long day of sightseeing. I would definitely stay here again!

The Forza was great value for money: we enjoyed the location, friendly staff, complementary coffee and wifi, comfy room and quick check in and out. Laundry machines were fine but very in-demand with long wait times and run times - that’s the only thing that was less than ideal. If you are not in urgent need of laundry facilities upon arrival then this place is excellent.
