This is a great hotel conceniently located right next to the station (literally a crosswalk away) with good facilities and friendly staff. We had the smart Kaguya room with twin beds. The room is on the smaller side of things, with not much room to maneuver two luggage cases. We were lucky to be on the top floor so the room was rather quiet, but could still hear noises from the station, although nothing too intense to interrupt our sleep. The highlight of the hotel would be the public bath, which was large and wonderful. The staff were excellent and spoke fluent English. Overall, this is a great economical choice for anyone who wants super close proximity to the Kyoto station.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Twin Hotel Kyoto Hachijoguchi. The location is just a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean and roomy. The onsen was a delightful experience. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant one evening, and it was excellent with reasonable prices. I highly recommend staying here while traveling!
