Hotel was only a short 4 minute walk from the Kyoto station which was great for getting around. The hotel is an excellent location near convenience stores and restaurants which was perfect. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was helpful when checking in, especially since I do not speak Japanese very well. I'd stay here again for sure!

The hotel was clean and well-maintained and well-managed. The room was small, but hotels in Japan tend to be (at least from my experience at four different hotels). I'm a small person, so this did not bother me, however. The best thing about this hotel is that it is right next to the central train station in Kyoto! Lots of restaurant choices-- nearby, but also inside the train station. There was a shopping mall nearby, as well.

This is an amazing hotel, and I throughly enjoyed my stay here! The front desk was super welcoming and super helpful as well. Especially the receptionist working overnight. She helped me with my luggage transfer and was so helpful with it. She filled out the papers for me and made it extremely easy for me. The public bath was also one of the best I experienced during my visit in Japan, and the breakfast was delicious with many different options.

This was a wonderful hotel! Loved the tatami floors. We picked it because it was only a few minutes from Kyoto station, away from the main tourist areas, but still well connected! The public bath was perfect for relaxing after a long day.
