Close to Kyoto Railway Station (7mins walk) and the Kansai Bus depot (5mins walk) - 7-Eleven next door for provisions - some good cheap traditional Japanese eateries nearby if you are prepared to go in search of them

I liked the location and the Japanese style breakfast. You have to pay to use the club lounge which I didn’t like. There was mildew under the bathtub and on the walls.

It's close to Kyoto tower. Staffs are friendly and helpful, reception can speak English. Check out time is 11am which allows an hour extra of sleep. It is close to Kyoto station (west exit) but not very close to shopping (east exit).
