It was a beautiful place to stay and you couldn't get any cliser to the water. The manager Brian and his wife Timomi were marvellous along with the owner Cheryl.

We loved our stay at Volcano Acres Ranch Bed and Breakfast! Theresa was an awesome host and very welcoming. She had upgraded our room for us for free when we arrived which was so nice. Having read the reviews I expected theThe Inn at Kulaniapia Falls to be a nice place to stay, and our experience certainly exceeded our expectations. To get to the Inn involved a scenic 20 minute drive through narrow paved country road and beside a coffee plantation. The room came with an amazing view and had good facilities. We unfortunately didn't get a chance to use the hot tub but it would've been lovely with the sunset. The kitchenette was well stocked and the room and hostel was very clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend for someone to stay here.

Kohala Village Inn in Hawi was a great place to stop on our trip around the island of Hawaii. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Service at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The rate was fine for the stay and we enjoyed the Hub Pub.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a short drive to Hilo's restaurants and downtown. There was also a magical little beach a minute stroll away. Alan the inn keeper was wonderful and very helpful. Thank you!

Property could do with a good renovation but prob one of the best in Hilo. It’s tight next to an abandoned hotel and homeless/ rough sleepers are all over the place. We chose to self park our rental which was offsite in a sketchy gravel parking lot. This was not attended and had heaps of pot holes. There were also a lot of homeless people sleeping in their car. In saying all that. The staff were amazing and accommodating with any and all requests we had. Very friendly all of them just let down...

Staff were fantastic as there was an issue with my booking. Air con was slightly noisy. Area was lovely. Parking was easy

A comfortable, clean and pleasant place to stay while in Hilo. Easily accessible by public transport from downtown Hilo.

Probably the best resort we have stayed in, in all our travels & we have been around! We were upgraded to the beach front suite which was absolutely stunning, luxurious & very very spacious, not to mention the ocean views & sounds of waves crashing to put you to sleep each night. The private beach is superb & like the resort itself is not overcrowded like many other mainstream resorts.i would come back in a heart beat.
