Independent in Enoshima from AU$63

If looking for a beach holiday in Japan, I would recommend Enoshima Island and Enoshima Hotel. We came here for a lazy time after 2 weeks travelling. I was a bit dubious as there weren’t many reviews, but our group of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay and use of the numerous pools. There’s a bus that can take you from Enoshima Station, otherwise it’s an easy flat 15 min walk. Lots of tourist sites close by to see as well as swimming, jet skis, sailing and stand up paddling. Fantastic facilities and technology in the room. Excellent information on how to use all the technology on the television in the room. Staff are very friendly and try really hard to speak English and make the experience as enjoyable as possible.

Kamakura is a great place to visit, but being an hour from Tokyo would get very busy in summer and holiday periods. The Prince is well situated on Sagami Bay, a big surf beach just out of Kamakura and near Enoshima Island. It is a 2minute walk to the Enoden Railway (or free hotel shuttle) which gets you around easily and cheaply and we used it to go on to Hakone via Fujisawa. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including Bills if you need a good latte and the French restaurant in the hotel...

The staff at this hotel were exceptional.....the breakfast was very good and the Onsen was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

Relatively new hotel very close to the JR Fujisawa station. A little bit of construction work at the station meant some slight pedestrian detours but only a minute or so extra. The overall condition of the hotel is bright and modern. Good size room by Japanese standards. The buffet breakfast was excellent - good variety of choices which changed slightly each day (was there for 4 nights). Certainly started every day with a full stomach !! Just right outside Fujisawa train station, plenty of parkings around the hotel. The rooms are very new and clean, staff are very helpful. They also provide free unlimited beer between 3pm and 8pm. Highly recommended for other tourists.

I was very surprised that hotel room is such big almost 40sqm. The hotel room facilities and walls are very new and clean. Parking is located in Level 3 by using elevator. The staffs are very nice. My mobile phone charger is USB C type for iPhone, the hotel and staff provide me the power converter and USB charger. I am really appreciate for staff’s patience' service

Super helpful staff who understood English when my broken Japanese failed me. Rooms were clean and modern with comfortable beds. While small the rooms were great. Super well located for the Ofuna train station and monorail, and easy access to Kamakura and Enoshima. Many restaurants located in close proximity.
