"It’s a great and lively location in Camden Town, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Conveniently, there’s a grocery store right next door. The host is wonderful and communicative. Inside the home, although it’s quite small, it was sufficient for one person and very clean, which I greatly appreciated. 4/10 Poor

"Our stay wasn’t very pleasant, I think they should state there is no air conditioning at all, even though yes they don’t advertise it, they had 2 fans but it was blowing around hot air. Also, most hotels have spare pillows in the wardrobe but there was none. So only had 1 pillow on the bed. This wasn’t convenient for someone that cannot sleep flat."

"Great Location, Wonderful layout and good level of customer service. However, I found stains galore in the room and on the towels. The shower fittings were hanging off the wall, when notified the staff member said he would check it out but when I returned it was pretty much the same. Barely any sleep due to neighbouring rooms being loud until early hours and doors slamming shut. The key card for the room only ever worked on the 3rd time of trying. Great Air Conditioning unit however 👍"

"The radiator had pink dye down it, which was also found on the "clean and fresh" towels. I was asked to pay a £100 sercurity fee upon my arrival as failure to do so was going to prevent me checking in. This was not stated on the website at all when I booked my stay. Reception staff were adamant that it was on the website but no matter how many times I told them they were having none of it. Even the guests checking in after me were shocked so there's proof it wasn't just a careless mistake and misunderstanding of my own. There is actually 4 blocks to the hotel each of which has a different door posing a security risk!! Found a slug in my bathroom and crack in the freshold slabs of the bathroom. There was a dent in the floorboards under the carpet near my bedside table which could have caused me to injure my ankle and/or foot. The view from my window was someone elses back garden that could be accessed by others (so much for privacy when my room and bathroom window is literally in someone's garden). I would never ever stay here again. You get one pillow that you have to fold to get a decent night sleep. The duvet is as thin as anything. Beds are hard. Carpet is outdated. Don't stay here I don't recommend unless your desperate and beware they ask for a 100 pound sercurity fee upon arrival and you get this back 3 to 7 days after checkout which I'm yet to see if I even get back. Appalled is an understatement."

Best Western London Ilford Hotel

"Our room was very small for 2 people..only 1 foot gap at each side of the bed and approximately 2 foot at the bottom between the bed and a dressing table, shower tray was still unclean. Paid for breakfast but didn't realise they didn't serve bacon or any pork in general which for a Best Western in the capital of what is British surprised us..it should of been an option at least. Everything else..the comfort was good, the parking was convenient, it was quiet and all the staff that we met were absolutely lovely and couldn't of been more helpful so 5 star for them but 3 star for the hotel from us."
