Second employee flatly stated to me that they were not allowed to charge anything to rooms. When I saw a different employee that evening, I asked upfront if my purchase could be charged to my room. The answer was an emotionless one-word “no”."

Because it is a historic building, there is only one bathroom that services all guests on the second floor (you just need to be aware of that).
