Great location and restaurant in the hotel was amazing; very walkable to all the shops and the river. Great outdoor spaces and the rooms were very spacious. It's an older hotel but has been nicely updated and the service and staff were great! Highly recommend and would stay here again. I would probably live here if they would let me!

Great Location

Loved the location of the hotel in downtown Holden, the bar & restaurant were great - the only drawback was the outdated room furnishings - dark, brown & gold rooms - like the rooms from the 1980’s!!

We ALWAYS LOVE staying at the Golden! First time traveling with our dog - front desk greeted him with a dog toy! Great access to everything downtown and adjacent to the scenic walking path!
