"The staff at this property were super lovely. Professional and friendly. I was visiting for a family funeral and they showed so much compassion. It was a really lovely touch - a card, ice cream and chocolate was delivered to our room soon after arriving. A very kind and thoughtful action. Even on check out the other staff member on shift was equally lovely and professional. Although property is in Manly it is close enough to the Corso to walk but not in the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend! "

"We were really blown away when we arrived at this hotel after an 11 hour flight. Bellhops and check in staff all in pristine uniforms. It seemed like every guest was dressed in pressed business clothes. Ferraris and BMWs out front. Very fancy. We were in rumpled travel clothes. I don’t even think I had packed clothes for anything other than hiking or the beach. I felt so out of place, but every single employee made us feel like VIPs. From the front bellhop who told us silly stories and gave us great directions to the waterfront to see the Opera House up close to the front clerks who made sure our room was perfect. Room was fabulous and our view of the Opera House amazing. (Get the executive room with the view. Totally worth the extra money.) This hotel is within walking distance to the train station, the harbour and ferries, shopping and of course, the Sydney Opera House. We took the ferry to the zoo and back with no issues. The only complaint I would have is the breakfast. It’s pretty pricey. You get to pick an item on the menu, have access to the buffet and can order a drink like a latte or a cappuccino. The staff are great and the view of the city awesome. It just didn’t taste very good. Everything was really pretty and magazine cover worthy, but most of it was either dry or undercooked. The sun was shining directly in my boyfriend’s eyes the entire time as well. When we asked to lower the blinds a little we were told it would affect the view. "

"Incredible stay to rest and refresh for our first few days in Sydney after a long flight from vancouver. The koala dining right outside our hotel window was the best but after that I can’t choose. The views of the city the sanctuary tour and the night tour of the connecting zoo all were just perfect. The staff were so welcoming and made our stay comfortable and relaxing. "

"We didn’t have a car but we were within walking distance from beaches, restaurants and shopping area. Great location!! The host, Amaya and Simon, are very nice and accommodating. The studio is perfect for short stays and very well equipped. You have the feel of being a local. We hope to be back."

The walking path,ferry,sitting on the benches enjoying dinner and, a glass of wine was by far amazing. Jenny is truly an amazing host and very easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back.
