This land sits at 9,400 ft. elevation, and there is very little light pollution at night; thus, making star gazing absolutely stunning on a clear night. Also, You can catch sunrises and sunsets like you've never seen before in the Colorado mountains. Additionally, this land has history, it was used back in the early 1800s for a gold mining operation, and the prospectors yieled a hefty haul of gold from this area before the mining shafts were collapsed due to them being unsafe for exploration.

*DIRECTIONAL INFORMATION* It's a rough road, but Subarus, trucks, SUVs make it up fine.
->If you are coming from Black Hawk, DO NOT take Missouri Gulch Road. Your car will thank you. Go almost all the way to Rollinsville on 119 and turn left on Gamble Gulch Road.
->Go towards Nederland / Rollinsville take 119 Peak to Peak highway North.
->Turn left on Gamble Gulch Road just before Rollinsville. If you miss it, turn around in Rollinsville, come back South and Gamble will be the second right.
-> Once on Gamble: Stay left on Gamble Gulch to avoid going up Travis Gulch Road
-> Follow Gamble Gulch all the way to the giant turn around and "end of county maintenance" signs.
-> Keep going!
-> Keep going up, up, up until you see an orange highway barrel on your left. Turn left there onto Forest Service Road FS 410.1A
-> Drive to the top, turn left at the next 2550 sign and stay left until you see the lodge. The lodge and other small buildings belongs to my neighbor, Doug, that is his property. You will see property markers that seperate his land from my land, so stay within the markers.
-> If you miss the turn off to FS410.1A, you'll see a Victorian house very near the road. Turn around there, you just passed 410.1A. It's now on your right as you go back down.

Great little get away just outside of town. Very quiet and the neighbors were really nice. Everyone went above and beyond so that we could get the most out of this trip. We wanted to get away from the 4th of July Fireworks. Great for smaller groups, highly recommend! Thank you!
