Australia, land of the beautiful sunsets.

When I think of Australia, I think of beautiful sunsets. This photo was taken last year on my 1 year backpacking trip through this beautiful country.
Probably the most astonishing sunset I’ve ever seen so far.
Crazy enough I was walking down the beach all alone while this explosion of magic happened in the sky. I was quit surprised actually that no one else came down to admire it.

“There's a sunrise and a sunset every single day, and they're absolutely free. Don't miss so many of them.” ― Jo walton

Have a gourmet getaway in this Shoalhaven town. Try farm-fresh produce, regional wines and dairy products while exploring farmsteads and forest reserves.

Visit Berry, an ideal place to relax in a gorgeous rural setting. Located in the South Coast’s Shoalhaven region at the foot of Coolangatta Mountain, the charming township is known for its quirky specialty stores, pretty 19th-century architecture, gourmet dining establishments, excellent local produce and rejuvenating day spas.

Take a leisurely stroll around Berry and browse the town’s eclectic collection of specialty stores, souvenir shops and renowned cafés. Try a freshly prepared snack from local bakeries or one of Berry’s famous doughnuts. Check out craft shops, potteries, art galleries and antique stores and pick up a unique keepsake from your trip.

A visit to one of Berry’s excellent providores will keep you stocked up with the region’s tasty treats and fine produce. Try chutneys, jams, chocolates, cheeses, local grass-fed beef, gelato and old-fashioned lollipops. Pick from a selection of wines, including boutique varieties and quality liqueurs. Meet the artisans at the Berry Markets, held on the first Sunday of each month.

Once your picnic basket is packed, be sure to explore Berry’s beautiful coastal areas, tranquil parks and forest reserves. Check out pretty Apex Park in town or visit Seven Mile Beach for refreshing swims and strolls along nearby Gerroa’s headland. Let kids frolic on the playgrounds at Emery Reserve while you enjoy Crookhaven River views.

Visit one of Berry’s wellness retreats or day spas to enjoy a soothing massage treatment, meditation session or yoga class. Alternatively, have a thrilling, fun-filled adventure at the local surf beaches or bushland reserves. Try horseback riding tours or paddleboarding along the beautiful South Coast beaches.

Berry is located a 15-minute drive from Nowra and is also near Kangaroo Valley, Shoalhaven Heads and Seven Mile Beach. Reach the town within a 2-hour drive from Sydney International Airport or catch the South Coast Train to Berry Station. With warm summers and mild winters, Berry is an ideal getaway at any time of the year.
