2. 'Sunset Chalet' Spectacular - Panoramic - Lake Tahoe Views!!!!

Brockway

"Thank you for the stay; I left everything or i try to order and very clean. The location of the Sunset Chalet in Kings Beach is beautiful—the view of the lake beyond the pine trees is spectacular, and waking up to the sound of woodpeckers was truly lovely. The cabin is very cozy, and the fireplace works perfectly. Even I thought that was wood fireplace still works perfectly and looks cute However, there is a very important issue: the listing stated that we would have the entire house to...

"We had the loveliest stay at Alpenglow Aerie! We were two families with 5 children staying over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house is beautifully decorated and has the most spectacular views of the mountains and lake. It was the perfect place to unwind after a hike or bike ride. The added loft area was perfect for the kids and we always had a fire going in the evening. Happy with our stay overall. Some interesting architecture to check out. Comfortable bed, large apartment, quiet, excellent restaurant on site (great coffee, open everyday for breakfast and end of week for dinner). Staff were helpful if we needed anything. The bar was nice though no one else there. On the negative side - only external stairs to get up to room, no exhaust in bathroom, ice could have been cleared around walkways a bit more, lounge chairs not very comfortable, and no plates or...

Downtown Tahoe City

We loved staying here. This is a classic stay in Tahoe City. I didn't realize it was built in the late 50's for the Olympics! We loved our room on the 6th floor; it is so lovely to have such a fantastic view of the lake and be up above all the noise and bustle. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat, just because it is so central and convenient. Yes, it is funky. Yes, the outdoor area is run down. The room was just fine. The beds could use updating (roll to the middle) but the bathroom was great,...
