"This Hotel is EXCEPTIONAL in EVERY way! The entire staff is friendly, attentive and willing to go out of their way to assure each guest has a great stay. From reception, to restaurant, to housekeeping each and every person was delightful and genuinely seemed happy we were there! The food at the restauant was amazing- from traditional Portuguese dishes to a modern take on many other dishes. The spa was excellent as well- small and cozy with excellent services given by very well trained therapists. I was able to purchase traditional Portuguese porducts that were carefully curated by the hotel. I read this and see I sound like a commercial for the hotel - happy to make one for you, Expedia! I encourage anyone traveling to Lisbon to experience this little gem in one of the most historic neghborhoods of Lisbon."

"Beautiful boutique hotel in a great location. Very close to everything, walking distance to many sites. Breakfast was a little confusing for us so I would advise confirming with the front desk before your first morning. The rooms and hotel facilities are very clean. The bed was comfortable. The roof top terrace is a great place to spend some time. Fantastic views and good/beverage. Well worth the stay."

"We had a great stay at Solar dos Mouros. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay. They gave us great suggestions for attractions, helped us book transportation, and were always happy to help with anything we needed. They even adjusted the breakfast time to accommodate our early check out, which was such a thoughtful touch. We stayed in a balcony room and it was beautiful and spacious. There is no elevator, so there are quite a few stairs, but honestly once you get into the room and step out onto the balcony, you completely forget about them. The view of the Cristo Rei statue and the iconic 25 de Abril Bridge is amazing. The location is also fantastic. It is central to many of the main tourist spots, historical sites and landmarks, making it easy to explore Lisbon. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff, the room and especially the balcony view were the highlights for us. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it."
