“Great hotel for a tight budget”
We were on a tight budget and the Bumpers Inn was one of the most affordable hotels in Banff. Our hotel room was very clean and tidy and we had 2 good, peaceful nights sleep. Sam on reception was very helpful. Would go back.
“"Reasonable Hotel"”
It is about about 15-20 minutes walk to Banff downtown. We can take coffee for free at the front desk in morning. The price is reasonable.
“Really enjoyed our stay”
Stayed for 2 nights friendly helpful staff. Large well equiped bedroom and bathroom with our own entrance, quiet at night convenient for eating out. Would definitely stay there again.
“Quaint, inexpensive and well maintained”
Not fancy but neat and quiet. I was attending a conference and this hotel was half the price of the conference accommodations. Cement construction with a very nice centre court yard. From the outside this building does not look like much, but from inside your room you look into and have access to a large courtyard with patios, benches and trees. Excellent. The room ha d a newer microwave, mid sized fridge and a new 42 inch flat panel TV with cable The adjacent restaurant with the same name is excellent so long as you want meat. They do not pretend to offer anything else but their beef is excellent and, for Banff, the prices are fair as they include a very nice salad bar with every meal.

Our room was better than expected for the price. Surroundings a bit shabby. Friendly and efficient staff - really a no problem stay
“nice quiet retreat”
for those who need a quiet place to sleep and can get by with the basics this is a great spot. i would recommend the owners consider putting small refigerators in the rooms as they are reasonably inexpensive now and likely wouldn't result in any sig price increase.

It's in a quieter neighborhood comparing down of Banff, still in a reasonable distance to commercial zone.
