When I checked in, I told the front desk clerk that I was just in town for work and didn’t particularly care about views and the like. I was there alone. To my surprise, she put me on the top floor in a corner room that had remarkable views overlooking the ocean on 2 sides, with large glass doors that opened to the outside. This setup afforded a “wrap around” balcony, the likes of which I’ve never seen up close. Room had cold water supplied every morning in the fridge and a cute coffee maker with delicious, fresh coffee “packets.” How nice ! I enjoyed my day immensely. Oh. The food in the restaurant was exceptional as well. I had a couple breakfasts while there

Minimal food options here. But they are remodeling one of the restaurants- maybe check before you commit if that is important to you

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. We loved eveything about our weeklong stay.

I cannot begin to explain the EXCEPTIONAL service, amenities, accommodations and experience at this resort. We fell in love with Hualalai and will 1000% be returning. I came here with my husband for my 50th birthday and was treated with such kindness. The staff here are above and beyond and honestly, as a frequent Marriott Ambassador Elite traveler, I have to say that Marriott’s higher end brands need to step it up to match the class, ease, and care that Four Seasons has shown us. Look no further if you are deciding on which Hawaii island to visit. We are looking at property here already if that tells you anything! Beautiful complex and views from the room. The unit we stayed in was a bit dated but clean. Only downside was the bed was very old and uncomfortable so we had to buy a foam topper which we then had to leave there rather than travel home with it.
