"The resort is a bit older so needs some work but it is kept very clean. The layout of the building creates a lot of noise travelling to the rooms at night, no matter what floor you are on. I was on floor 8 and could hear people on the main floor at 11pm still. Staff was all friendly and helpful. Buffett was ok. The Italian and Japanese restaurants were the best. The steakhouse was disappointing, all the steaks no matter what cut, are paper thin. Adult pool was very cold. "

"We had a very pleasant and joyful vacation at GR Solaris. The ocean view was great, and the beach access was excellent. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming, which made the stay even better. The only issue was some noise in the hallways, since there’s no carpet in the corridors or rooms, even normal conversations could carry. Other than that, we had a very positive experience overall."

The pools were a little chilly but great vibes around them & when the sun is shining they feel good! Yummy drinks! The beach was beautiful! The staff & service is phenomenal! The location of the resort is perfect — just steps away from 5th Ave & blocks away from the ferry to Cozumel! All good things!! Can’t wait to go back!! "
