The check-in process was easy, staff was welcoming and stored our bags until our room was ready. We enjoyed afternoon tea service on site which was lovely as was the staff in the on-site Starbucks. Housekeeping left a lot to be desired - we had to call for towels more than once and the staff marked our room as do not disturb twice while we had clearly hung our “our pillows need plumping” sign on the door - unfortunately on one evening, a staff member argued with me about that fact - very unbecoming interaction but the manager, when requested, was helpful. Returning to an unserved room twice resulted in disappointing ends to fabulous and jam packed days in the city. The property is lovely and most staff were wonderful. Proximity to many attractions and the tube were wonderful as well.
