Excellent accommodation in the heart of Venice. We were in a family suite with heaps of room and access to all amenities. We were on the 4th floor but lucky enough to have a lift up to our apartment. Absolutely loved our first time stay in Venice.

We had the room that was literally on the Grand Canal, open the window and the Grand Canal waters are lapping below the window...you just can't get better than that.
Breakfast was wonderful and filling , kept us going for most of the day. Any employee that was at the front desk ....were a copy of the owners pride and service to you as their customer.
Our room oozed with Character of the 14th Century ...was an absolute delight .
The room was was not 5 star type room....but it does not matter...

The accomodation was once a palace and had been beautifully restored and added to. The room was large with a fabulous marble bathroom , shower and powder room. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were welcomed with a bottle of frizzante wine and chocolates which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and contour pillows were available on request. The complimentary breakfast was a standout and one of the best we have ever experienced. All in all a great choice for our stay in beautiful...

We had a 3 day break at the end of a month's touring. The hotel is excellently located and is ideal for couples. The hotel is locates close to all of Venice's attractions, yet is sufficiently away from the bustle of St. Marks's Square. The public transport pontoon is only 50 metres away and the water taxi pontoon is directly out the front.

Photos don’t do it justice, beautiful property, friendly staff. Lots of stairs and no lift from what we could see, so be aware you will have to carry your luggage to the top, but worth it for the view. Rooftop terrace was very peaceful. Great location, would stay here again. 😄

If you want to stay in Venice and away from the San Marco and Rialto busy tourist areas and without being lost to find your hotel, Bucintoro is the perfect choice, just cross the bridge from Arsenale Vaporetti Station. We stayed in the classic room with breath-taking view of the Lagoon and San Marco Square, perfect to watch sunset and sunrise pictures.
The hotel staff is very friendly and Castello area is quiet and yet full of surprises with plenty of good dining options locally and just a few...

Excess Venice was everything we wanted in our stay in Venice! A little away from the main tourist area yet quickly and easily accessible via Vaporetto (water bus) or a 30 minute lovely walk through cobbled streets or along the waterfront to the main attractions.
The rooms, amenities (coffee machine!), ambience, staff (thank you Anna especially) were faultless. We will definitely stay here any time we come to Venice!

Great location in Venice, easy go around in both water and road transport means. Well maintained and the winner is the excellent breakfast option included in the room rate, which had a great variety to choose from. Staff is second to none, with special mention to Maria on the buffet breakfast who made our day every day.
