"We got one of the bigger rooms that fit 8. Was plenty of room for us all and the kids room had heaps of space. Floors were a little grimy and there were a few ants about the space. But all in all we were very happy with what we got for the price we paid. Would definitely stay again"

"The house was extremely messy. The previous tenants had let it in a massive mess. Cleaning did all they could but due to the maggots in the house it was also full of flys. After spending the first few hours killing flies it was better."

"We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home stay in Douglas. The property at 13/151–157 Riverside Blvd exceeded our expectations in every way. It was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.The location is perfect—peaceful and scenic, yet conveniently close to shops and essential amenities. The surrounding environment made it a great place to unwind and enjoy some quiet time.The interiors were spacious, modern, and very welcoming. Every detail seemed carefully arranged to make guests feel at home. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was fully functional, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting.We truly appreciated the smooth check-in process and the excellent communication throughout. It made our experience stress-free and enjoyable from start to finish.Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. "Communication was easy and accurate. Unit looks a little older/dated however it was perfect for what we needed. Decent kitchen ( with kettle, toaster, pots/pans etc), full size fridge/freezer, 2 bedrooms, aircon and ceiling fans, single car carport. The whole apartment was clean, and welcoming and you can tell that care had been taken for our arrival. We stayed for 5 nights for a sporting event and this unit was only a 4 min drive from Woolies/big w, 5 min drive from coles/kmart, 6 min drive to Zaraffas (big win for me!) And only 17 min drive to the beach/waterfront. If we come back to Townsville again, I will 100% re-book this place!"

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy. The size of the room was great. But the rooms are tired. Need fresh paint. Mold in the grout, and bathroom ceiling. Sink and taps would spray everywhere. And the aircon had so much dust in it that it would fly out of the vent onto the beds. The price is reasonable but not as clean as you would like. "

"Overall really enjoyed our stay. Loved the Food from the Thai Restaurant and fish and chip shop close by. Being able to look out on the River and those amazing old trees was special. The pool was a great attraction. "
