The bed was comfy and it was quiet. There's no elevator, but it's only two flights to the top floor. As a car-free traveller, I liked the central location and got everywhere by walking and city bus.

What a great little gem. I stayed in a standard room with a QB & SB. It was fine for the night. Ground floor with parking at front door. Comfortable bed. Gorgeous garden and pool area. Also free entry to Strand Gym and Tobruk Baths. Also has pet friendly rooms. Cafe open for breakfast has the basics needed. Friendly staff. Enjoyed my stay after a long flight. Have already booked to stay again. Good value for money

I love staying here when in Townsville. This time I stayed in a larger room which had a bath. Loved my soak. Also brought my dog this time which is fantastic. The grounds are well looked after. Cafe is good for breakfast. Staff are always friendly and helpful. My only suggestions would be a handrail for the spa and pool. I’ve had a knee operation and can’t hop in the spa and pool as I can’t get myself out of it without a rail. I would love to get in it. I’m sure there are other travellers like me. Also some cookies with the tea & coffee sachets would be great. See you next time

We only stayed one night with our little dog but the unit was clean and airy. There were lawn areas which were private where we could play ball with the dog. Management and staff were very helpful. We will stay there again.....
