Great downtown location with lots of dining options nearby. The rooftop/pool area was nice but the space could use a bit of styling for an easy upgrade. Hotel room was dirty. The carpets were filthy and the shower was full of mould and pink slime (Serratia marcescens). The whole hotel needs an update. It’s a massive eyesore in the Townsville CBD. The in-room coffee was of low quality (packets of instant coffee) but there’s a great cafe downstairs. The loading zone near the hotel is quite far from the entrance. It’s a long distance to travel with luggage unassisted.

Fantastic service throughout our entire stay! We were welcomed by the friendly and warm Nicholas, who was wonderful and able to get us checked fast and easy, and several hours earlier than we expected. The hotel was great, clean and we had no problems at all! All the staff were lovely, and a big thank you to the housekeeping ladies on the 16th floor, who were so friendly and still gave us fresh towels when we stayed in our room for the day. Overall excellent experience, and I would happily stay here again!
