"Great stay"

"We enjoyed our first experience at the holiday park birthday weekend stay with our 2yr old. The cabin was clean and contained everything we needed as a family of 3, from secure late check in, parking space, tv x2, bbq to a/c to fridge/ freezer. We took a look at the reviews and park map to ensure we booked a cabin in a quiet location away from childrens play equipment. We would book again as it's not too far from Sydney. Looking forward to next time. "

"Good, clean, no frills accommodation"

"The room was cosy and comfortable with all we needed for our one night stay. The building itself is looking a bit tired but everything seemed to be clean. We didn’t have a car so it was a bit of a walk from the station and shops. There were a couple of very good restaurants about 5 mins walk away. We didn’t meet any staff as we checked in via locked box. No problems. "

"The building and rooms felt a bit run down. About a 20 minute walk to town. The Buffett breakfast looked to have a lot of variety. It was raining so I didn’t use the pool areas but they looked nice "

"Not near what we were expecting "

"Outdoor lights can’t work. The light in the house upstairs is very dim, and there is a lamp that can't be used. The door and wardrobe door hinges of two rooms are loose. The hygiene is not good. There are many spiders and webs in the room."

"Only contacted the host once and his response was speedy and appropriate. Property was generally as described and in good condition. However, the light in the front ground floor bedroom (to the right of the entrance) didn't work but did flicker sometimes. The fact that it flickered implies and electrical fault. The screens need attention. They come off their tracks. Would have liked to have a toaster downstairs (they're only 29 at KMart) and a few clothes pegs to stop clothes, towels blowing away. Didn't use the barbecue because it is a charcoal one which, I consider, to be impractical. Don't fancy waiting around for coals to heat up and then have to clean up the mess later. A small gas BBQ would be better. It wouldn't hurt to put an info package in the unit with info on where the nearest shop, takeaway and petrol station were located. Despite the above issues, we would happily book KIama Dream for a future holiday."
