"I had an exceptionally great experience during my stay this past weekend at Byron Quarter. The apartment is overly spacious and all the basic amenities you need are provided (plus laundry in unit!). Great location walkable to the Main beach and all the restaurants and shops in downtown. The price is very reasonable given all the aforementioned. Julian, who I presume is the property manger, demonstrated exemplary customer service and accommodated me very well during my stay. I was overall very pleased with my stay and for the great customer service experience provided by Julian! "

"I stayed in a studio room for three nights. Note - not all studio rooms are the same! My first night was in room 1, which is unique in having no privacy - the screen door directly faces a high traffic area next to stairs to the upper level - I had to have the curtains closed when I was in the room - and noise from people passing at all hours due to poor soundproofing. This room also had very small sinks in the bathroom and kitchenette, and a very firm bed. I complained about the noise and lack of privacy, and the hotel manager offered an alternative studio room for my remaining two nights - this was like night and day compared to the first one - more private, and with normal-sized sinks and a much more comfortable bed. Excellent location in the centre of town, clean rooms, good showers, friendly staff, and convenient free underground parking included. This is a great property for a stay in Byron, as long as you don't end up in studio room 1."

"Ballina Beach Nature resort didn’t tell us the truth as we booked a cabin with a king bed and this was not supplied and said to contact Expedia as you had our money so they couldn’t give a refund We stayed only one night instead of 4, as we didn’t have the correct room Also they are certainly not a resort I have cancer and use a walker for any distance walking and their “path to the beach” was totally useless for me as my walker couldn’t fit through there track We feel like we have had the property misrepresented to us They have a non refundable policy, which is illegal according to the ACCC, which is why the will refund nothing Being pensioners and not in good health we were looking to a nice time not a nightmare, as this has now turned into So, I would not recommend this business to anyone and would give negative stars if possible This has now been going on for 5 days without resolution but I will take this further"
