Great location and helpful staff

The staff were very polite and spoke English too which was a bonus, as we needed to arrange an international interview while there. The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard and helped us feel relaxed as soon as we arrived. Perfect location. 50 meters from the Plaza Mayor. We wished that we'd booked more nights here! One disappointing thing was the restaurant that is "connected" to the hotel by name, but is located in the main square. The service was poor, location was good, the food...

The staff were all exceedingly helpful, though Miguel deserves a special mention! The location is ideal for exploring the city by foot, but metros are also close by.

The hotel is located right in the middle of the Plaza de España area. It’s 20 meters walk from the metro, which is super convenient if you plan to go to Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu stadium. I took line 10 metro and 15/20 minutes later I was in front of the stadium! Aside from that, it’s right next to the start of Gran Via, which is full of shops, restaurants and bars. This hotels location is amazing. It is in the heart of the city centre and is a short walk from shopping and plenty of food options. The pool was a lot of fun and the staff were super helpful and welcoming.

The property is nice and conveniently located in the city. We had an issue with our room that you wouldn’t expect with this kind of hotel but the staff dealt with it promptly and efficiently so we were very happy.

The boutique hotel was a beautiful place to stay in Madrid. The atmosphere, fragrance, decor, location, warm greetings, attentive & helpful staff from the first moment we entered was without fault. We have stayed in many hotels in Europe & this was one of the best.

This is an excellent hotel in the best part of Madrid. Highly recommended. One knows what to expect in a 5 star hotel and the Wellington ticks all those boxes - fluffy towels, comfortable bed, excellent gym facilities and the like. The reason I keep coming back to the Wellington though is that it is emblematic of everything that is wonderful about Madrid.
