Excellent view, comfortable bed, good breakfast, easy parking (be sure to check on Friday and Saturday mornings for street cleaning schedule).

Everything about the property was handled very nicely. Convenient location to walking to all areas, great restaurants, nice rooftop patio on the property to relax after the day. Easy on street parking close to the property.

A small hotel with easy parking on the street. (They told me which side to park due to street cleaning). Very clean and staff is very friendly. The air conditioning is via the floor which was not enough air circulation for me so I asked for a fan and than it was great. Good walking distance to the center. Next time I’ll go back to it again.

Sara was wonderful! So helpful and friendly. The property is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood in easy walking distance to the downtown area of Siena. We took a taxi to the Duomo on our first day so we could see where things were and then walked everywhere the rest of the time. An excellent room (we were ground floor and I don't think there were elevators so be careful if that is an issue). It was bright and airy and quite comfortable and clean.

Sara and Diana made our experience wonderful at the hotel. Great infos and advices given to help us enjoy Sienna and surroundings! Gorgeous hotel located 5mn away from city center. Definitely recommend this place!

What can I say. This was our first time in Siena and my first time in Italy for some 28 years. Jimmy is the perfect host. Nothing is too much trouble for him and the rest of the staff. They have great knowledge of Siena and the surrounding area so you can really go and do and eat and drink like a local. The rooms are clean, well appointed and maintained excellently. The breakfast had just enough variation without being overwhelming and is a great start to the day. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Siena and the surrounding area. We base ourselves here for a whole week. Finally, the hotel’s terrace must have one of the best views of Siena, taking in the Duomo, Torre del Mangia and much more. I cannot recommend a stay here enough. If we visit Siena again we will definitely be staying here again.

Great hospitality at this wonderful hotel. The staff were so friendly and attentive, offering lots of advice and serving drinks on the scenic terrace. Our room was tastefully decorated with a lovely original fresco visible on the ceiling. Just a short walk into town with lots of restaurants nearby and free street parking outside. Our only complaint was that we visited during an unseasonably cold and wet patch of weather, yet the rooms were really hot at night with no fan or air conditioning which disturbed our sleep. We would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel has the most fantastic location, an easy 2 minute walk into the main heart of the town and yet our bedroom window framed the skyline of Sienna perfectly. You also felt that all of the staff could not do enough for you.

Very charming hotel just outside the village of Siena, Italy. Very kind employees during our stay. We greatly appreciated the restaurant recommendations. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable.

The staff is very helpful, making restaurant recommendations and even offering to call for reservations. The hotel is very clean, breakfast is wonderful, and the location is convenient to the bus station (we actually walked to it from the train station and enjoyed seeing the city, but it's quite hilly so don't choose that option unless you are fit) . We stayed here in 2012 and again in October 2018. I would highly recommend this hotel, but am told that the ownership is changing on Nov 1, 2018, so anything could change.

The property and rooms were very nice. It was hard to find parking. Recommend calling ahead and the staff will assist with finding parking. I thought Sienna’s cathedral was more beautiful than St Peters Basilica in Rome.

View of Sienna from second floor was absolutely amazing. They also have a rooftop lookout lounge area where you can get the view if you don't have it in your room. Only stayed one night but we thought it was a very nice hotel with friendly helpful staff and a good breakfast which can be had in an outdoor garden setting if you like.

Charming Bed and Breakfast
Set a bit off the beaten path in lovely Siena, Villa Elda was charming and quaint. Rooms are spacious relative to other hotels in Italy, beds were comfy and the space was spotless. We had a second floor room that had spectacular views. Air conditioning is not the best - it comes from the floor - so request a fan and leave the windows open at night. Breakfast was simple but delicious and they offered 3-4 different types of coffee including American. They have a lovely outdoor garden to eat or just to sit and relax. But unlike other hotels, they do not have any amenities (apart from a small mini-bar and coffee maker in your room) so if you want lunch, snack, dinner you have to walk into town. It's a short walk with lots to see along the way and Siena offers a multitude of choices for eateries, shopping and sights. We wanted to experience the charm of this area without being among the crowds and Villa Elda was just the place. Warning: there is no elevator or porter, so you will be carrying your own bags up and down the stairs. Overall a delightful experience.

Villa Elda is excellently placed fora visit to Siena, being right next to the Fortezza. Breakfast in the garden is very pleasant in dappled sunshine. If you have restricted mobility, beware: no lift. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms simple but comfortable.

Beautiful views of Siena
This hotel is a beautiful old villa in a quiet residential area, a short walk from all the attractions of Siena. We paid extra for a city view room and it was well worth the small supplement, with superb views of the Duomo and the lovely red roofs of Siena. The weather was glorious while we there so it was an added bonus to be able to eat our breakfast in the garden. The young ladies who run this hotel were without exception friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. There are tea and coffee making facilities too, and free wi-if. If you are there on a Wednesday there is a huge market just around the corner - well worth a wander!

Don't like: small room, very small bathroom for a six foot tall man, very limited breakfast compared to other hotels we are visiting, no parking. Had to park illegally on street to get staff to come get bags. Did like. Friendly helpful staff, good location
