"We loved our stay at Alex’s house - it was perfect for our family group of 14. There were several open family areas and the outdoor area was fantastic. There were lots of towels and other thoughtful touches that made for a wonderful stay. Alex was also terrific to deal with - helpful and responsive. Thank you Alex."

"The circuit breaker tripped about 6 times during our stay. This was due to an old noisy and I believe unsafe A/C. Even the hot water system, we were warned, might trip the circuit breaker. Can this be safe? Other rooms had no A/C at all. The only parking is via a very steep and curved driveway. We did not enjoy our visit and left a day early. A significant maintenance overhaul is required."

"We had an amazing getaway! The property had everything we needed and more. So much space for us and our little dogs - we’ve all come home relaxed and refreshed! Plenty to explore on the property, the pool was amazing to cool down in every day and before bed, feeding the friendly horses and cows, and collecting freshly laid eggs for breakfast from the chickens. Only short drive away to local breweries for lunch. Highly recommend, thank you for having us!"

"Very good accommodation in a beautiful country location. Rooms are great, ample for our group of nine, and facilities generally good. We stayed last year for five nights over Xmas and did the same this year. Had a great time overall. Negatives are the cleanliness of things like saucepans, knives and some drawers, the amount of food left in fridge door and cupboards (some looks pretty old), and the bluntness of all the knives (knife sharpener would help). "It was pouring rain and we had to park a fair way from our unit. Bathroom had mould on the ceiling and I could write my name on the bedside table and lamp. Decor was very good and in spite of this I would probably stay there or in the same accommodation again. Much less stressful than a small motel room. "

"Loved this hotel. Even though the way the bed was made up meant only one person had access to get into bed, the other person would have to climb over during the night which is not convenient. So we changed the location of pillows etc which worked for us. No where to hang clothes in bedroom just a mirror. No bowls in kitchen. But other than that got used to everything digital and the gym is best one for any hotel i have stayed. The staff were amazing and Marco made me feel so welcome as soon as i arrived. Would definitely stay again"
