"Really comfortable bed and little extras that are often missing in more expensive hotels such as a shower cap, and a stocked mini bar.
Delicious little packets of biscuits with the tea and coffee facilities. Careful keeping of my Left property (jacket and phone charger).
I felt really comfortable here thank you."

"The property was in a convenient area with easy to walk to eateries and shopping. The entrance was a little challenging to find at first. Parking was readily available. The staff were lovely and the rooms were comfortable and clean."

The room was nice. The bed was in good condition without lumps or sags. The bathroom was in great condition and well appointed. I have stayed in cheaper hotels in the area and this one is well worth the extra money.
I had breakfast in the restaurant and it was excellent.
It has just the right level of service, good without being overbearing. This has been the best hotel experience I have had in the Canberra/Queanbeyan region.

We were pleasantly surprised at how good this motel was and how friendly the staff were. Booked a room that had a double and a single bed but next time would make sure we had a room with a queen bed. Rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet. Bathroom was modern, large and very clean which I loved. It was great to be so close to Canberra without having to stay there. We loved the quality of the motel and the price was fantastic!

We really loved the Ramada Diplomat. Not much not to like, in my opinion. It has a beautiful lobby and dining area. It looked like a luxury hotel and felt like one too. We had a ground floor recently refurbished room, and while we were not given a room with a view, our room had a lovely leafy outlook that gave us a visual escape after our days in the busy city. I've seen a few reviewers saying their rooms were dated. Ours was recently refurbished and decorated with an eye for luxury. It was an...

We arrived after hours and our keys and all information was left for us. The cabins were a very generous size. Facilities at the park were fantastic. Loved the location as it was very easy to get around Canberra from there. Will definitely be back.

The best area to stay in Rossi is generally within the main village itself, particularly around the high street, for convenience and access to local amenities.
The village centre of Rossi is compact and easy to navigate on foot. The high street, known as Rossi Lane, is where you'll find the local general store, a couple of inviting cafes, and the historic Rossi Hotel, which is a local landmark. Accommodation options here often include charming guesthouses and boutique stays, many of which are converted heritage buildings.
For couples seeking a relaxing escape, staying within the village centre is ideal. You'll be within easy walking distance of everything Rossi has to offer, from enjoying a leisurely breakfast at a local cafe to browsing the small artisanal shops. It provides a comfortable base for exploring the surrounding countryside or simply unwinding in a peaceful setting.
Travellers looking for a more secluded experience, perhaps with a focus on nature, might consider properties just outside the village. These often offer larger plots with views of the rolling hills and bushland, providing a quiet retreat.
When is the best time to go to Rossi?
The best time to go to Rossi, New South Wales, is during the spring (September to November) or autumn (March to May) months.
During these periods, the weather is generally mild and pleasant, making it ideal for exploring the region's natural beauty and outdoor activities. Spring brings wildflowers and comfortable temperatures, whilst autumn offers crisp air and often colourful foliage. These seasons generally avoid the hotter summer months and the cooler winter, ensuring a more enjoyable experience for those looking to explore.
For those interested in exploring the local vineyards and enjoying outdoor dining, spring and autumn provide the superb climate. The vineyards are typically bustling with activity, and the cooler evenings are lovely for al fresco meals without the intense heat of summer.
