This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The entrance to the bock my apartment was in was filthy, dirt and leaves all over the hallway and up the stairs which created a terrible first impression. The first room I was given was dirty and had the most hideous smell. I was moved to a second room which was very extremely dirty, dust in the corners and the room needed a good vacuum. The surfaces of the desk and bedside tables were dirty and had drink marks The telephone cradle was broken making it hard to use. The kettle in the room did not work. The TV remote control was dirty and sticky to touch and did not work. I moved the bedside table to plug in my phone charger and discovered used tissues and other rubbish behind the table. I looked under the bed and there was a coffee cup lid and other rubbish. I was moved to a third room which was basically clean but still not spotless. I arrived on the Friday afternoon and left on the Sunday, during this whole period there was no manager on site to discuss my concerns with. The only positive thing about the hotel was the staff In the reception and restaurant who were all extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is very tired, the 3 rooms I was placed in all had broken and tired furnishings. There is clearly no quality control with the room cleaning. To have a room so filthy is appalling at any time but is even worse during the current pandemic. This hotel is terrible and should carry the Ibis name.
