This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The entrance to the bock my apartment was in was filthy, dirt and leaves all over the hallway and up the stairs which created a terrible first impression. The first room I was given was dirty and had the most hideous smell. I was moved to a second room which was very extremely dirty, dust in the corners and the room needed a good vacuum. The surfaces of the desk and bedside tables were dirty and had drink marks The telephone cradle was broken making it hard to use. The kettle in the room did not work. The TV remote control was dirty and sticky to touch and did not work. I moved the bedside table to plug in my phone charger and discovered used tissues and other rubbish behind the table. I looked under the bed and there was a coffee cup lid and other rubbish. I was moved to a third room which was basically clean but still not spotless. I arrived on the Friday afternoon and left on the Sunday, during this whole period there was no manager on site to discuss my concerns with. The only positive thing about the hotel was the staff In the reception and restaurant who were all extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is very tired, the 3 rooms I was placed in all had broken and tired furnishings. There is clearly no quality control with the room cleaning. To have a room so filthy is appalling at any time but is even worse during the current pandemic. This hotel is terrible and should carry the Ibis name.

Our room suited our needs, a little tight for five people but Ok for a two night stay and good value. Strangely only two of our four beds were made by housekeeping. The included breakfast was good in theory but with only one staff member serving, clearing and taking orders, we opted to go elsewhere as the queue was out the door to be seated.

A quiet hotel on the edge of town. Ample parking, inviting reception area, well appointed rooms, comfortable bed, great shower. Interacted with a couple different receptionists during our 3-day stay, and their service was really great. However: One of 2 bedside lamps not working, only one powerpoint to use for kettle and charging 2 phones and 2 laptops, the fan in bathroom sounded like a Harley Davidson motorcycle, both bins in room and bathroom were filthy, the kettle, plastic food menus and brochures in room were filthy, and 2 of the 3 menu items we ordered to eat were inedible (and totally overpriced). We also did not feel the place was covidsafe given surfaces in our room did not feel disinfected, and we noted that the doorhandle on the entrance door to our block had brown liquid marks (probably spilled coffee) on and around it the whole time we were there. Proof that no-one was disinfecting common area surfaces. I complained about the broken lamp and lack of powerpoints right after we moved in, and the receptionist swiftly arranged to deliver a power board to our room. Her service was faultless.
