"Great place to stay just a bit hard to get into as there is no way to drive into the motel from other side of the highway you have to drive around the block to turn around then come back . Staff and ammenities were great."

"Wonderful place to stay in Maitland. Friendly and efficient staff made me feel welcome. Lovely room with everything you could want. And a great location handy to local bars such as The Pourhouse (very cool bar with craft beers and good tunes)."

"What a beautiful, intimate, quaint cottage and only 10 minutes from the vineyards. Helen was the most lovely host, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. It was so peaceful and it felt like we were stepping into a cottage in the rolling hills of England. We loved our stay, the lovely breakfast each morning and definitely will be returning in the cooler months to sit around the beautiful log fire with a bottle of the Hunter’s finest."

"The bush room was very comfortable and I'm sorry we weren't able to see it in the daylight as I think the views from the little outside balcony would have been brilliant. (arrived late and off before dawn for the Anzac service). A little care to be taken going down the steps to use the bathroom in the main house, (as I said it was dark) but otherwise all good and suited our needs. Thankyou to Grant for picking us up at the station as the train was very delayed."

The hotel was conveniently located within a short distance from Hunter Valley Gardens, Hunter Valley zoo and Maitland which has lot of places to eat. The room was very well maintained and was neat and clean. It was very comfortable to fit in our family of four with two queen size beds. The room was fitted with a micro wave and a bar fridge which is convenient. The buffet breakfast was also good.

Loved the ‘person less’ property. This won’t be for all but worked for this introvert! It was simple to access the building and I felt very secure. I had a question prior to check in so I rang the number and was helped efficiently and warmly. Apartment absolutely spotless, quiet location. Basic toiletries so BYO if you care about that (I do). I’ll stay again.

We were welcomed on arrival by a friendly staff member. After a long drive we enjoyed a tasty meal in the restaurant before relaxing in our comfortable room. I was surprised how quiet the noise in the room was considering the inn faces a main road.

It was a short stay but comfortable and great surroundings and staff always helpful.
The only thing that I did not like when filling out the form at reception I did not want to fill in the credit card Numbers and I said was not necessary as I had already paid for the room. I was asked to do I did and
have felt uneasy about writing my credit card details.

Booked at last minute as friend I was supposed to stay with got covid. Large busy pub with lots of diners on a Saturday night. Most tables booked. Dinner menu was good, I enjoyed a lamb shank with mash and gravy.
Check in is signed at the bar. The rooms are at the back with card key access. It was very quiet even though I was next to the car park on the ground floor. Room was modern and clean. TV has access to apps like netflix so can use own login. Would stay again

Loved the family room double bed and 2 singles. Room was clean and had milk tea/coffee and complimentary water in fridge. I found it to be a quiet area. Check in was fast and very friendly. Beautiful place to stay in for a weekend getaway. Pool was clean but there was a thunderstorm late afternoon when we arrived so never got to swim. We will be back. Beds were comfy had a fabulous sleep.

It was a beautiful retreat indeed, we truely enjoyed our stay and the team were responsive and welcoming. We had a small issue during our stay and they resolved it promptly, we were very impressed with the outcome. If you are a coffee lover, there is a cafe catering your morning craves :) we saw many hot air balloons on the sky from our balcony, can’t get better than this! Highly recommended to everyone, we are planning for our next visit already with friends and family.

Great house for a family or group get together, golf course right at your back door. Short walk to Nineteen for happy hour and for events at Chateau Elan or a round of golf or two. Thd house was very clean and spacious and had everything you need for a great stay. A pod coffee machine would of been a great addition for our stay but not a deal breaker as was able to get takeaway coffee up thd road.
