Central in Rockhampton, go for jogging along the river early morning, when the bums are still groggy and the chance of rape is to a minimum. Accomodation is just like a little townhouse, everything you need, quiet and convenient. Ideal for a base to explore the beach 35 minutes away, jump on the ferry to Keppel Island, investigate the caves or hike the national park.

Hi Dimitrius, Thank you for the 5 star review of our lovely 2 Bedroom Townhouses, and great central location. :) Not sure about the accuracy of the river walk as we do it most mornings ourselves and always feel relaxed and safe along with the many other joggers and walkers, but really appreciate the candid review!Safe Travels,The Team at Cityville Apartments.

Really disappointing!!
Luxury is the key word! Such a let down! Pam was amazing and helpful but televisions didn't work properly. One of the aircons in the room didn't work at all and dust buildup on the fans and vent in bathroom triggers off allergies!

What a shame you did not contact Pam to alert her, as she IS amazing and would have attended to the TV and Air Conditioner immediately for you. Unfortunately there is no notice when something is going to stop working or need attention and If we are not alerted to a problem we are unable to fix it, not only for you but for the next guest. We are very sorry your stay was not as expected however from what we can see you booked a motel room not a luxury apartment which could explain your mis-matched expectations? The dust is not acceptable and we apologise profusely for this, housekeeping/management will be having a blitz on all vents this week.

Room was very dirty, dusty. We all started coughing and sneezing within minutes of getting into the room. The road noise is terrible if you are at the front of the property. Kitchen is so small it does not cater for families who want to cook as the design does not allow for sufficient access. One of the most dirty rooms I have stayed in in years.

Great place to stay
Great little place to stay, doing lots of things well such as smart TVs so you can watch Stan or Netflix, nice big fridge, spacious room with a small courtyard and the location in Rockhampton is great and it's surprisingly quiet as a location too. The only small criticisms I'd bring up would be the aforementioned fridge was actually quite loud as it was running, and that the sound insulation between the rooms could be a little better, although it wasn't awful at all.

Nice overnight stay.
Convenient location, small kitchen with the basics, 2 x fridges. King size bed was a bit firm for my liking and the bathroom wall had hand prints behind loo. Over all, was comfortable enough.

Very noisy room surrounded by workers staying there. Not a very friendly greeting on arrival, no advice given to me re the area…told to look at the map. Swimming pool cloudy so not able to swim despite hot weather. 3 horrible plastic coat hangars in room so unable to hang clothes. Web photos nothing like actual place. This motel is on a very busy noisy street as well. Walls between rooms not very soundproof. Would not stay here again..worst accommodation on my travel around Qld trip.

We arrive a few hours earlier than check in time , I thought ild just check to see what time we would be able to get into our room, our room was ready for us already the lady was so pleasant , comfortable king bed we had the studio room , Next time we stay in Rockhampton we will definitely be going back there thank you

The photo of the property is showing the best side of it. Reception or any staff for that matter was very welcoming and helpful. You can walk to the river and town centre from the property- the location is great for that. The room has everything we needed and more. Even has cookware and full size fridge. It’s not very quiet as Bolsover Street can get busy. BBQ area outside is huge and very clean - a bonus if that’s your thing.

Very clean room, very friendly staff. They called us in the afternoon before we arrived to see what time we were checking in and turned on our aircon so the room was cool when we arrived. 👏👏

everything you need
we stayed for a night and found the motel fantastic. Our room had undercover parking with a small kitchenette. The room was quite big for a studio. Clean and comfortable, definitely will stay again.

Mums and daughters weekend
Vicki called me through the week to ascertain who would be staying there. As it was 2 mums and their 12 year old daughters she upgraded us to a 3 bed apartment so the girls could have a sleepover and the mums could get a bit of luxury. The apartment was quiet, clean, spacious and had full kitchen facilities. Everything you could need for a few days away. The staff were very friendly and more than helpful. We would definitely stay again.
