"This property is OUTSTANDING! The view of the river and waterfall from the wrap around lanai is BREATHTAKING. The pictures do NOT do it justice! It is no quiet little stream--it is a magnificent, roaring river and waterfall, with nothing but rainforest type jungle beyond it. The house was immaculate and so spacious and comfortable for our blended family group. If you require super cold temps with closed windows and AC, this might not be your jam. But we LOVED it--windows open to the soft floral air, plenty of fans to keep things circulating, and the sound of water everywhere. The little neighborhood it is in is super pretty too with a number of lovely historical homes. I would recommend this place not only for nature lovers but also for spiritual retreats. :)"

"This condo was a great location for us to stay to explore the Hilo area and also to go to Volcanoes National Park. The condo was well located, very clean and well appointed. The air conditioning in the bedrooms made sleeping very comfortable. However, the living and dining rooms did not cool down and were uncomfortably warm at times.We enjoyed exploring the Hilo area and the National Park was awesome!"

Location OK, close to downtown hilo, breach front if you have a car, but surroundings of the appartment are not fantastic, Table for dinner is tiny, can fit 2 guests but not 4, what made dinner as a family of 4 challenging..."

"I’m not sure I can completely express how much staying here meant to us. This unit helped make our trip as wonderful as it could possibly be. The unit is bright and thoughtfully and beautifully designed and decorated. It is surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful flowers on the property, and it was neat and clean as can be.The owners are lovely and were so welcoming and helpful, especially with information and suggestions about seeing the current eruption at Kilauea. The check in and check out were easy and seamless.We had a wonderful visit to the Hilo side and this unit was a perfect place to rest and recharge from the days adventures. Thank you so much!"

"Beautiful property in Hilo in a gated area but still close enough to walk to town. Met the neighbors who are so friendly. We were able to pick fruits from the yard and enjoy them. Great location for many activities. Communication was easy with the host. Didn’t realize when we booked that there was no AC and the house was very hot at first. They do provide many fans which helped but if you have a hot night like our first one sleeping was difficult. Lots of frogs making noise outside so that took awhile and ear plugs to get use to but having the windows open helps with air flow and to cool the house. Overall lovely older home with beautiful yard and huge screened in porch."
