"Amazing location. Staff very helpful and lovely and place was clean. Need to sort out the water pressure as opening the taps more than a tiny bit meant having an impromptu shower. Stayed in studio where there was a random supply of kitchen bits and bobs but it was ok for one person. Place is very tired and worn. Booked a room with a balcony but it was more of a closed in porch. If you're looking for a clean place that you're not doing much but sleeping in and want to be in the heart of at kilda you've found it. "

"The room was excellent and clean, with a comfy bed. Friendly staff. Great location with tram stop just a few steps away. Generally quiet despite being located on a main road. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the room was not working, and construction noise a couple of doors away meant no Saturday or Sunday sleep in past 745am. Other than that, enjoyed my stay. "

"Interesting art deco building close to the beach. Large room with a balcony. No noise from the bar even on Saturday night and only a little from the road. Good value. Pleasant breakfast on Sunday morning"

"Once we turned the air-conditioning on we couldn't turn it off, adjust the fan setting we had to keep turning the temp up. The tv remote was dodgy, when you changed the chanel or volume it would turn the tv off. One of the bathroom doors would close properly and the toilet needed repeated flushes every time. The staff were really nice though."

"The rooms were very spacious and clean. Pool and gym areas were also really clean and offered a beautiful view of the CBD, Port Philip Bay and Albert Park Lake. Really close to the CBD, perfect location for a getaway. Would definitely stay here again."

"I do not usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was genuinely unacceptable. From the moment I entered the room, multiple serious issues were obvious. The in-room safety deposit box was already locked and unusable. The bathroom sink would not drain because the stopper was stuck closed, causing dirty water to sit in the basin. The coffee machine still contained a used capsule from a previous guest, clearly not cleaned. When I pulled back the sheets, there were multiple long hairs on the bed. These are not minor inconveniences. They are basic hygiene and maintenance standards that any hotel should meet. What makes this more frustrating is that the hotel requires a $300 credit card authorisation and strict ID verification upon arrival. If such strict policies are enforced, guests should reasonably expect rooms to be properly cleaned and inspected. This stay has been extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this property unless significant improvements are made in cleanliness and quality control."
