We stayed at Port Cottage for a long weeks with our dogs!It was perfectly appointed with easy access to trams, shops, eateries, pubs and excellent Melbourne coffee!! There is also a beautiful dog friendly park with lots of friendly locals! We used Mad Paws to find a local dog sitter while we were out of the house for the day! The cottage is perfectly adequate, comfortable beds and everything we needed for a city stay.

Our host was great checking in after our arrival and passing on her contact number for any unseen problems. The cottage was beautifully clean and in an excellent location, close to cafes, dog parks, restaurants and the beach. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Very good location, close to Bay street and the tram although you can walk to the city in only 30mins if you wanted. Coles supermarket just 5mins walk away as well. Our dog appreciated being able to do his business out the back if raining otherwise he could visit the plentiful parks in the area. 2 fantastic cafe/bakeries just a stones throw away also. Would recommend.

Cosy place in quiet area a stone's throw from CBD

Very secure yard for dogs, everything we needed was provided. Lovely place, very clean and easy to keep clean with kids/pets. So convenient having a corner store and cafe a couple minutes walk away, and we walked into DFO with the kids a very easy stroll. The running track took me right to the casino complex in just over kilometer or so. Julie gave us timely check in info and was easy to communicate with. Would happily stay again.

Lovely little cottage in a fabulous location with great views of the city. Close to everything. Nice and secure yard for the doggos. Check in process was nice and easy. Would be good if there was wifi, but everything else was perfect.
