Starting with the positive, the hotel is close to a beautiful river walk into the city. Highly recommend, the walk takes about 30mins to get to the wharf.
Now to the hotel. I was incredibly disappointed with its presentation. I asked to move rooms twice because thw rooms were disgusting…. there was very viable stains all over the furniture and parts of the carpets. The glasses were dirty (something calcified at the bottom of the glasses, needed scrubbing) and towels were dirty. Furniture was overused and tired. I wasn’t expecting to get a room exactly like the pictures but a decent standard of cleanliness is the very least a hotel can do.
The staff told me there as no where to move me so I asked for a refund to leave, to which she then reached out to her manager.
In his defence, he was helpful but still needed to send housekeeping through a room he found for me to move to, which makes me wonder how often rooms are actually cleaned? This final room to had broken air conditioning and was at 26.5° in the day even if the aircon was programmed to 18°. Sadly, this was a last minute booking as my original hotel had a burst water main a day before I was set to arrive in perth. I chose this hotel because of the cleanliness reviews etc… I cannot tell you how shocked, and honestly, embarrassing it was to see these rooms. They need to completely renovate or at the very least buy some new furniture. Will not return here.
