"This was our second stay at the facility, and we loved it both times! Very quaint and unique hotel with a great restaurant and bar attached. Love the location, ambiance and staff at all the facilities. Great kitchen common room and they now have TVs in the rooms! Hope we can come back again!"

"This place was perfect. That porch over looking the lake and the stars. Lots of wildlife to see. The house is perfect, stocked with all the essentials and more then I’ve ever had in a vrbo stay. The cabin is far enough away to be quiet, but close to all the essentials. I’ve been to Machias area a million times, this was the best visit yet. I’ve already booked my week for next year. Next year Im hoping to see a moose."

"This was a perfectly peaceful and relaxing stay. The host thought of everything! The lapping water on the lake was a soothing background night and day. There is a road nearby, but the traffic is so minimal that it doesn’t take away from the experience at all. We packed a cooler because there’s not much nearby for restaurants, but that was fine because we didn’t have much desire to go anywhere. We had one slight issue that was immediately addressed within minutes with multiple apologies. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back!"

"Our room was a generous size and had views of Passamaquoddy Sound with path access to a local beach. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. They use a Roku box for TV services, which is unfamiliar to us, but offers a lot of viewing options. We didn't really have much time for TV, given the locale."

"Lubec is a quiet town on the sea and we really loved it. The Eastern Beacon Inn was a delight. The bathroom may be a little small for some but the room is spacious and comfortable."
