"This house is in a pretty awesome location. The views make up for anything that isn’t top of the line. The kitchen appliances were really nice and the beds/sheets were really clean and comfortable. The downsides are there is only a/c in the living room - none of the bedrooms have it. The weather was nice enough that we were fine but if it was a little warmer, sleeping wouldn’t have been as comfy. It’s a very damp area of the island so leaving the doors and windows open all the time makes the house feel kind of damp. Like I mentioned, the view, beds and kitchen amenities made up for anything that caught us off guard. I would still stay here again, I would just be expecting that this time. "

"Friendly hosts who let us pick lemons and limes from the trees in their yard. We felt very safe in the area, quick walk to the beach, and AMAZING sunrise views from the overlook!!! Wish we booked at least 3 nights! It is also a very quick drive in to Hilo. Cannot recommend this place enough! "

"I loved the disconnect from everything while being so close to Hilo. It was a beautiful and welcomed country retreat with the sound of the frogs and waterfall and rain to lull us to sleep! We had an amazingly comfortable time and enjoyed the surroundings immensely. Thank you so much! Mahalo!"

"The home had everything we needed during our stay - including all kitchen items and even some board games. The pool was the perfect size for our group and not too cold either :) the host was very responsive and check in and check out were a breeze. Would come back! "
