"What a great hotel, with a terrific location in Florence! Their special touches (happy hour!), attention to detail and welcoming attitude really stood out. We loved the location. It 's a peaceful oasis away from the bustle, but gives easy access to the key sites. It's right on several city bus lines and the City Sightseeing Line that takes you around the city and up to Fiesole (definitely worth the trip to get out of the city, see ruins, and get spectacular views). It's also right by the Arno, so you can walk or run along the river or along a shady sidewalk up to the views over the city - all right outside your door. They also have a lovely shaded garden and an outdoor breakfast space. The AC was ESSENTIAL, as it got over 100 farenheit every day we were there. We also had a balcony, which was nice in the cooler morning hours. There's also a taxi stand right outside, and the staff will get one to come up to the gate upon request. We had absolutely no problem getting around, and though it's outside the hectic tourist area, everything feels accessible, and I imagine even better when it's not so hot out. I would definitely stay here again!"

"I don't usually leave reviews but this hotel deserves one! The staff were amazing, the rooms were spotless and spacious and I felt so comfortable I could walk barefoot without a second thought. And the shower? Incredible water pressure—I could honestly stay in there for hours! And when I asked for some ice, they brought me a bucket big enough for about 12 people. Talk about going above and beyond! Such a great stay!"

"Amazing hotel! The location is prime, views and steps to the Ponte Vecchio, restaurants, and shopping. The staff was attentive to our needs and made check in/out swift and seamless. Our room was an Arno-view room with a terrace and it was fabulous. A must-stay property in Firenze."

"This hotel was listed as 4 star. The decor is WW2 era. Not what I've seen in other 4-5 star hotels. The rooms are clean but again very spare and dated. The breakfast is just the basics nothing special. The staff is kind and helpful. I appreciate all they did with arranging an early morning taxi and storing my luggage. It's situated in a beautiful historic area but there are no restaurants close by (walking distance). The pool is a nice perk especially since the temp was 98-100 degrees. It's quiet and off the beaten track."
