Last minute

Last minute cancellation by owner. We had already traveled eight hours to get there. No communication until last minute. Had to get VRBO to get him to contact me. So disappointing

C'est un trĂšs mauvais hĂŽte. Il a louĂ© son logement Ă  deux groupes de familles diffĂ©rentes pour les mĂȘmes dates. Nous avons vĂ©cu un stress Ă©norme. Quand on lui a tĂ©lĂ©phonĂ©, il a rĂ©pondu trĂšs tard et nous a dit qu'il nous a jamais louĂ© le logement, tandis qu'il avais dĂ©jĂ  Ă©tĂ© payĂ©. Nous avons mĂȘme des discussions sur l'application. Nous Ă©tions obligĂ© de tĂ©lĂ©phonĂ© au service Ă  la clientĂšle de Vrbo pour se faire rembourser. C'Ă©tait trĂšs difficile pour nous de trouver un logement en plein Niagara falls durant cette nuit. Je vous dĂ©conseille fortement son logement bien que le prix n'est pas trop Ă©levĂ©. Cela vous Ă©vitera des situations gĂȘnantes et stressantes.

STAY AWAY! I contacted Vrbo after seeing previous reviews posted for this host after I booked. I said it looked like a scam and they assured me it would be fine. They had the host call me to confirm and everything. The day of the host cancelled on me and I had nowhere to stay. This booking should be removed from Vrbo. Something seems wrong if this host has cancelled on multiple people the day of. Vrbo did end up making it right for us, but it was very stressful finding someplace the day of. We were lucky a hotel nearby was available when we booked online as this is a tourist destination and the hotel was full and turning people away when we check in.

Sold property but never told us. Had to scramble to find a place to stay. Did receive refund but totally frustrated.
