"Such a lovely historic ryokan experience, our first ever!! The inn is old and rustic which gives the feeling of going.back in time. The onsen mineral bath experience was worth trying, but reserve a private one if you want to enjoy with your companions instead of other travelers. "Tsukino was easy to get to from train station, walkable in 10 mins with other shops and dining options around. However I would definitely recommend the half board package as their food is excellent. Granted I had to guess what a lot of it was but that actually made it quite fun. The staff were very helpful and attentive as well as conscious and considerate over allergy issues. "The hosts were amazing. Totally went above and beyond! I was offered to be driven to Omurayama. They also offered to drive me back but I opted for the bus (for the experience!) Also, I was super impressed by one of the female workers speaking so many languages! I'm also a super picky eater but the traditional breakfast was amazing. Last but not least, when I checked out I was given the offer to drive me to the station. They're just such lovely and kind people!"
