Lovely place, friendly owners, great big rooms and fireplace. Highly recommend Walton House.

Self Contained and separated from other accommodation is a bonus for an affordable stay at Cradle Mountain. Will always be my first pick for stays at Cradle Mountain.

From receiving a personal greeting and garden tour from our host, the romantic and cute cottage accommodation, to the spectacular views from the deck at the back, we were highly impressed with this accommodation- particularly as it is a new listing and was recently purchased. It is obvious that the hosts have placed much love, time and effort in the attention to detail even with small things such as having an oil burner with lavender scent. The bed was very comfortable and it was the best sleep...

The staff are kind, welcoming and everything you'd hope for when travelling to such a destination. I came here for a recharge, and achieved it Leah, and team were exceptional, I hope your next adventures are as good as mine.

Great location within walking distance to Cradle Mountain Visitors Centre and Devils @ Cradle. Comfortable room with spacious setup, modern facilities and privacy. Very pleasant staff and service, wonderful country views surrounded by local wildlife.

Amazing accomodation, so good the fiancee actually said we should go into something similar for work =)

Was a great place to stay and staff are very friendly

Loved the place, customer service from owner was appalling. She was arguementive, bossy not a nice lady

Beautiful spot

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful part of the world. We spent Christmas here and it was just perfect. Super close to all the great sights in the national park, with a bus stop just across the road and some excellent walks starting from the lodge itself. The staff were very thoughtful – there was a lovely Christmas bauble in our room when we arrived. The room was modern, comfortable and immaculate, and we spotted lots of wildlife from the balcony. Buffet breakfast was incredible, with a huge...

The Great Lake Hotel lies way up on the central plateau and hence is a great place to explore this alpine wilderness. If you like trout fishing there is ample choice. Regarding the Hotel, rooms are very comfortable, staff are so friendly, restaurant is good and the wallabies are a delight in the evening. This is a great place to relax for a few days.

We travelled to Queenstown to ride the West Coast Wilderness Railway and stayed two nights at the Comfort Inn Gold Rush Motel. It is very difficult to choose a motel when you are travelling. We booked the room before we left home not knowing what we were going to find. It was a pleasant surprise to open the door and find such a lovely room.

Sensational place if you want to sit around and relax - it’s our go-to place! I wanted to say, it’s terrible, don’t go, so it remains quiet but it is so nice, it deserves to be fully utilised. The staff work SO hard and they are really nice. Enjoy the drive, enjoy the lookout and dam, but mostly enjoy the peace and quiet!

Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely location close to some beautiful walks. The room was spacious with good cooking facilities and comfortable lounge room. It could have been cleaner though - there was toothpaste spatter on the bathroom mirror, the fridge was not clean and the cupboards & drawers in the kitchen needed to be wiped out. Supplies were also lacking - ran out of toilet paper (had to use our own), also ran out of dishwashing liquid and was only given one tiny soap between two people for...

We had a lovely overnight stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and homely.thee was a nice common area for relaxing and a common area kitchenette for tea, coffee and breakfast use. We stayed on a Sunday night so the hotel wasn’t open for breakfast or dinner, but that was okay for our stay. We would stay here again.
