Nice Lodge in the middle of nowhere!! Very close to Gordon Dam which was convenient. Lovely view of Lake Pedder from the Bar/Restaurant. Friendly staff and good food. Rooms a little aged but overall very comfortable.

The lodge lounge area & restaurant is located with amazing views of the lake and mountains, very comfortable with helpful reception and dinning staff. The accomodation wings are separate from the restaurant and were originally designed for workers and consist of adjoining rooms with no views and very thin walls . They are clean with bathrooms and small shower.Unfortunately you can hear showers & toilets flushing from the adjoining rooms. There are a few rooms in the same building as the restaurant/ lounge that have beautiful lake views that are more expensive but seemed to be in demand and regularly booked out . The obvious attraction of the area is the amazing remoteness, magnificent mountains & tranquil lakes. The dam wall is the other drawcard & is within easy driving distance . The whole area would be ideal for canoeing but unfortunately the peace and tranquillity can be destroyed by motor boats & jet skies.
